A remarkable historic aircraft, a Texas backdrop and a professionally run operation - What more could you possibly want? If you only do one warbird ride, THIS IS THE ONE TO GO FOR!!

'What a fantastic and unique experience! Even if you have done other warbird rides before, you have just got to do this one. Facing backwards gives you a whole new perspective on the world, particularly during a simulated attack run! I rate this as one of the very best of all my warbird rides, and I cannot recommend it highly enough'

"The opportunity to fly in warbirds such as the Helldiver only increases my respect for the Veterans who did this for real. The sights, smells and sensations you enjoy while in the air must be equated with the fact that they did this under the most hostile of conditions and still kept coming back for more. My thanks to all of them and to their modern counterparts, but especially all those who now allow us to experience a little of what it was like."

To fly in the world's only airworthy Helldiver was indeed a thrilling experience - especially when sitting in an open cockpit, facing backwards and firmly gripping a pair of 30 calibre machine-guns (sadly but wisely deactivated).

"I can’t imagine how scary it would have been to be a Helldiver crew in WW2 as they flew on and off of the aircraft carriers and then dove at 85 degrees toward a ship, while being shot at, and then trying to escape the ensuing gun fire. It makes you appreciate the courage and heroism of those who flew these magnificent planes.
Still grinning from ear to ear"
